![]() ![]() Does anyone know why when you launch the calculator (new or old) in Windows 10 it is not immediately active? When I’m in a random program (a browser), and I hit my keyboard button for the calculator and immediately start typing (as I was able to to in ALL prior versions of Windows), it’s only annoying that the calculator is not active and my numbers are going nowhere. I noticed someone else asked about this, but I thought I’d ask again as I saw no response. If you will decide to revert to the Modern Calculator app, just uninstall the Old Calculator from the Settings app\Uninstall a program, see the following screenshot: It will have the same interface language as your operating system. you will be able to launch it as "calc.exe" from the Run dialog or from the taskbar search box or from Cortana. The Calculator app will be revived completely, e.g.
